The History Center

The Pownal Historical Society has a new home

The History Center is the headquarters of the Pownal Historical Society, and also a depository of our research and artifacts. It is located on the lower floor of the new Town Hall, with a door at the back parking area facing the skate park.

The History Center has genealogy files, old photos, historic maps, stories from the past, and other archived material. We continue to work to organize these materials.
