Stronger Together

There are many ways to join us in our mission. Become a member. Volunteer at an event, or activity. Maybe share stories or contribute artifacts from your family history. And of course, donations are always appreciated. Or finally, simply join us in fun and learning.

Membership is only $20 a year. For those with the time and energy, we have a small board of directors of members who lead the organization.

Volunteer opportunities are many. It might be making food or setting up tables at the Christmas Tree Lighting. It could be dressing up in a colonial costume and participating in a reenactment. Or, you might spread word of PHS events through you social media, or through your organization.

You also could contribute your own or family history. We collect and store these, as well as family momentos. at the History Center. Many of the stories are shared through social media, newsletters, and events. We welcome your story, especially from families with long histories in the town.

Donations have been critical in the long history of PHS. Combined with small grants, we depend on donations to sustain our many activites, pay the rent on the History Center, and meet other expenses.
