This map represents a small section (the North East corner) of the Bleeker Map of Rensselaerwyck Manor. This map shows what Pownal looked like in 1767 The New York - Vermont (Pownal) border runs somewhat horizontally across the map at about where the road is shown crossing the river, which is about where it crosses today. The Mass - Vermont (Pownal) line would run somewhat vertically along the left side of house 132.
